Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the propeller shaft from the vehicle. Refer to Propeller Shaft Replacement .
  3. Use a suitable jack to support the transaxle.

  4. With a jack, slightly take the weight off the mount, and remove the transaxle mount to frame fasteners (3, 4).
  5. Remove the transaxle mount thought bolt (1).
  6. Remove the transaxle mount from the vehicle (2).
