Preliminary Procedures Remove the left front console extension panel. Refer to Front Floor Console Extension Panel Replacement - Left Side . WARNING: After installing the transmission range selector shift cable, pull up and push down on ALL connections to verify that the connections are fully seated and properly engaged. Failure to perform this task can result in the vehicle not being able to shift into PARK causing potential vehicle damage and bodily injury. Disconnect the shift control cable from the transmission control. Refer to Range Selector Lever Cable Replacement .
1	Transmission Control Fastener (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
9 N.m (80 lb in)
