1	Transmission Control Lever Shift Button Procedure Using a soft bladed trim tool, gently pry off the button. NOTE: Set parking brake then place the transmission control in the Manual position.
2	Transmission Control Lever Shift Button Trim Bezel Procedure Using a soft bladed trim tool, gently pry off the shift button trim bezel.
3	Transmission Control Lever Shift Knob Retaining Clip Procedure Using a suitable pry tool, remove the retaining clip.
4	Transmission Control Lever Knob Assembly Trim Plate (Qty: 6) Procedure Open the lower storage door or remove the ashtray. Lift the trim plate from the upper right front lip to remove. Disconnect the shift indicator electrical connector. NOTE: Place the transmission control in the Neutral position.
5	Transmission Control Lever Knob NOTE: During knob removal, ensure the shift indicator electrical connector is disconnected, so as not the damage the connector or the assembly. During knob installation, the retaining clip, shift button and shift button trim bezel can be installed to the shift knob, prior to complete assembly installation. The control lever boot and knob are replaced as an assembly. After knob installation, "pull shift knob straight upward with moderate force (No twisting motion) to ensure secure knob attachment to shifter rod."
