Camshaft Position Actuator Removal - Right Side Exhaust

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Torque Reaction Against Timing Drive Chain Caution .

  1. Use an open wrench on the hex cast into the camshaft in order to prevent engine rotation when loosening the camshaft position actuator bolt.
  2. Remove the right exhaust camshaft position actuator bolt (1).
  3. Remove the right exhaust camshaft position actuator (2).
  4. Remove the camshaft thrust washer if applicable (3).
