Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine front cover. Refer to Engine Front Cover Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: Upper Primary Camshaft Drive Chain Guide

  2. Remove the primary camshaft drive chain tensioner. Refer to Camshaft Timing Chain Components Removal .
  3. Remove the primary upper camshaft drive chain guide. Refer to Camshaft Timing Chain Components Removal .
