Water Outlet Replacement

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) .
  2. Remove the right engine mount bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement - Right Side .
  3. Remove the radiator inlet hose from the water outlet. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LFW, LFX) .
  4. Remove the engine coolant air bleed pipe from the water outlet. Refer to Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe Replacement (LFW, LFX) .
1 Bolt (Qty: 2)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
10 N.m (88 lb in)
2 Water Outlet
3 Seal
NOTE:

Clean the surfaces and replace the seal.
