Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the intake air pressure and temperature sensor electrical connector.
  2. Remove the charge air cooler outlet air tube (1) from the throttle body (2) while rotating the collar counterclockwise.
    NOTE: The charge air cooler is equipped with a locking collar. Rotate the collar counterclockwise to release the charge air cooler.

  3. Remove the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Non V-Series) and Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (V-Series) .
  4. Pull the release clip (1) outward and disconnect the charge air cooler outlet air tube (2) from the charge air cooler (3).

  5. Remove the charge air cooler outlet air tube (2) from the vehicle.
