Installation Procedure

  1. Install the charge air cooler inlet air tube (2) to the vehicle.

  2. Connect the charge air cooler inlet air tube (2) to the charge air cooler and engage the retaining clip (1).
  3. Install the charge air cooler inlet air tube to the turbocharger.
  4. Raise the vehicle.
  5. Install the charge air cooler inlet air tube bolts (1) to the charge air cooler inlet air tube (2) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  6. Install the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (V-Series) and Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Non V-Series) .
  7. Install the front compartment lower noise shield. Refer to Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement (RWD)Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement (AWD)Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement (V - Series) .
  8. Lower the vehicle.
  9. Install the clamp and connect the charge air cooler inlet air tube to the inlet air hose.
  10. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
