Power Steering Fluid Cooler Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the front bumper energy absorber. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement (BRT)Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement (Standard) .
2. Place a drain pan under the vehicle.
3. Remove the front intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Front .
4. Siphon the fluid from the power steering fluid reservoir.

Procedure

1. Loosen the hose clamps and remove the cooler outlet hoses from the cooler.
2. Remove the nut holding the power steering fluid cooler to the front bumper impact bar. Refer to Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement .
3. Separate the cooler from the impact bar.
4. Fill and Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
