Removal Procedure

Move the front seat forward in order to access the front seat track trim cover (1, 2).
Remove the seat track trim covers (1, 2) from the seat track.
Disable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .

Remove the front seat bolts (2) from the front seat (1).
Disconnect the front seat tentioner anchor by removing the cap, bolt, and cover. Refer to Front Seat Belt Anchor Plate Tensioner Replacement (AQ9) .
Disconnect the seat electrical connectors.

With the aid of an assistant, tilt the seat up in the rear and slide rearward to disengage the seat (1) from the floor to remove from the vehicle.
