Installation Procedure

  1. With the aid of an assistant, install the seat (1) into the vehicle.
  2. Insert the front tabs on the seat track into the floor.
  3. Connect the electrical connectors.
  4. Enable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  5. Install the seat track bolts (2) and tighten to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

  6. Install the seat track trim covers (1).
  7. Install the front seat tentioner anchor by reinstalling the cap, bolt, and cover. Refer to Front Seat Belt Anchor Plate Tensioner Replacement (AQ9) .
  8. If replacing with a new seat assembly, the new seat adjuster memory module requires programming. Refer to Control Module References .
