Preliminary Procedures Drain the charge air cooling system. Refer to Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LF3) , Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vacuum Fill LF3) . Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LF3) . Remove the wiring harness retainers from the charge air cooler coolant hose-fill tee hose.
1	Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose-Fill Tee Hose Clamp (Qty: 3) Special Tools BO-38185 Hose Clamp Pliers For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .
2	Charge Air Cooler Coolant Hose-Fill Tee Hose Procedure Fill the charge air cooling system. Refer to Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static LF3) , Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vacuum Fill LF3) . Check the charge air cooling system for leaks.
