Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LFX) ,
  2. Remove the secondary air injection check valve pipe. Refer to Secondary Air Injection Check Valve Pipe Replacement (LFX) .
1 Secondary Air Injection Shutoff and Check Valve Bolts (Qty: 2)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
25 N.m (18 lb ft)
2 Secondary Air Injection Shutoff and Check Valve

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the secondary air injection shutoff and check valve electrical connector.
  2. Install NEW gasket.
