Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the retainers and tie straps to the charge air bypass valve vacuum tank tube bundle front section (3) and install to vehicle.
  2. Connect the charge air bypass valve vacuum tank tube bundle front section quick connect fitting (2) to the turbocharger wastegate actuator vacuum tank. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  3. Connect the charge air bypass valve vacuum tank tube bundle front section clamps (1) to the turbocharger wastegate actuator vacuum tank.

  4. Connect the charge air bypass valve vacuum tank tube bundle front section (1) to the charge air bypass valve vacuum tank tube bundle rear section. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  5. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LF3) .
  6. Install the front compartment front sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Replacement .
