Liftgate Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

1. Disconnect the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
2. Remove the rear end spoiler. Refer to Rear End Spoiler Replacement .
3. Disconnect the liftgate actuator from the liftgate, if equipped. Refer to Liftgate Hydraulic Actuator Replacement .
4. Disconnect the liftgate strut. Refer to Liftgate Strut Replacement .
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
6. Disconnect the rear washer hose.

Procedure

1. Transfer parts as needed.
2. Adjust the liftgate if needed.
