Hood Replacement

WARNING: When a hood hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury. Preliminary Procedure Disconnect the hood strut. Refer to Hood Strut Replacement .
1	Hood Hinge Nut (Qty: 4) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Mark the hood/hinge relationship with a grease pencil. Disconnect the windshield washer hose. Transfer components as necessary. Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
2	Hood Procedure Adjust the hood if necessary. Refer to Hood Adjustment .
