Preliminary Procedure Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool and release the retainer clips securing the front forward edge of the left front floor console extension enough to access the instrument panel lower trim panel fastener. Do NOT remove the complete front floor console extension panel, only release the retainer clips securing the forward edge.
1	Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Fasteners (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
2	Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Assembly Procedure Grasp the instrument panel lower trim panel and pull rearward disengaging the retainer clips securing the panel to the instrument panel assembly.
