Component Testing

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the multifunction switch assembly-I/P.
  2. Test for infinite resistance between the signal terminal 1 and the ground terminal 3 with the switch in the open position.
    • If less than infinite resistance 

      Replace the multifunction switch assembly-I/P

    • If infinite resistance 
  3. Test for less than 2 Ω between the signal terminal 1 and the ground terminal 3 with the switch in the closed position.
    • If 2 Ω or greater 

      Replace the multifunction switch assembly-I/P

    • If less than 2 Ω 
  4. All OK.
