• The TCM freezes transmission adaptive functions.

• DTC P0977 is a Type A DTC.
• The TCM freezes transmission adaptive functions.
• The TCM inhibits TAP Up/Down function.
• The TCM inhibits manual shifting of forward gears.
• The TCM commands maximum line pressure.
• The TCM inhibits powertrain braking.
• The TCM inhibits neutral idle.
• The TCM inhibits auto grade braking.
• The TCM inhibits Tow/Haul function.
• The TCM commands neutral gear if the output speed sensor signal is 1,350 RPM or greater.
• The TCM commands 2nd gear if the output speed sensor signal is less than 1,350 RPM. No upshift allowed.
