WARNING: Refer to Brake Dust Warning . Preliminary Procedures Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the brake rotor. Refer to Rear Brake Rotor Replacement (1500 Series) , Rear Brake Rotor Replacement (2500 Series) . Disconnect the park brake cable from the actuator.
1	Park Brake Shoe Retaining Clip (Qty: 2)
2	Park Brake Shoe Retaining Pin (Qty: 2)
3	Park Brake Shoe Lower Return Spring
4	Park Brake Shoe Adjuster Screw Clean the threads of the adjuster screw to remove any corrosion. Apply a light coat of high temperature brake lubricant to the adjuster screw threads. Turn the park brake shoe adjuster screw until it is fully retracted.
5	Park Brake Shoe Upper Return Spring
6	Park Brake Shoe and Lining (Qty: 2) When installing the park brake shoe, apply a small amount of brake lubricant to the brake shoe and the backing plate contact points. Adjust the park brake shoes. Refer to Parking Brake Adjustment (1500) , Parking Brake Adjustment (2500) .
