Action Taken When the DTC Sets

DTC P0A8D is a Type C DTC.
The engine control module (ECM) will command the charge indicator and or warning message to be illuminated on the instrument panel cluster and the driver information center, if equipped.
The accessory DC power control module will shutdown 14-volt conversions.
