Preliminary Procedure
- Using the J 35512
bearing installer and an arbor press, remove the bearing assemblies from the drive sprocket.
- Ensure the bearings are installed squarely into the drive sprocket bore.
- Install the bearings from the top with the clutch teeth facing down.

Transfer Case Front Output Shaft Drive Sprocket Bearing Assembly - Front Procedure
- Install the bearing using the long side of the DT-48211
bearing installer.
- Ensure the flat edge of the bearing is facing upward.
- Using an arbor press or hammer, install the bearing until the tool bottoms on the drive sprocket.

Transfer Case Front Output Shaft Drive Sprocket Bearing Assembly - Rear Procedure
- Install the bearing using the short side of the DT-48211
bearing installer.
- Ensure the flat edge of the bearing is facing upward.
- Using an arbor press or hammer, install the bearing until the tool bottoms on the drive sprocket.
