WARNING: Refer to Brake Fluid Warning . WARNING: Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Warning . Preliminary Procedures Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (6-Lug Wheel) , Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (8-Lug Wheel) .
1	Brake Hose to Caliper Rear Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 40 N.m (30 lb ft)
2	Brake Hose to Caliper Gasket (Qty: 2) TIP: DO NOT re-use the copper gaskets. Install NEW gaskets.
3	Brake Pipe Rear Fitting Tighten 25 N.m (18 lb ft) Remove any dirt or debris from the brake pipe fitting. Use a backup wrench when removing or installing the brake pipe fitting. Cap the brake pipe fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
4	Brake Hose Bracket to Rear Axle Bolt Tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
5	Brake Rear Hose When installing or removing the brake hose, DO NOT bend or twist the brake hose. Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) , Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Two-mode Hybrid) , Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) .
