Preliminary Procedure Remove the front floor console trim plate. Refer to Front Floor Console Trim Plate Replacement .
1	Instrument Panel Center Compartment Fasteners (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
2	Instrument Panel Center Compartment Assembly Procedures Grasp the instrument panel center compartment and pull rearward releasing the retainer clips securing the compartment to the instrument panel assembly. Disconnect the electrical connections, if applicable.

CAUTION:

Tighten
2.5 N.m (22 lb in)

Instrument Panel Center Compartment Assembly

Procedures

Grasp the instrument panel center compartment and pull rearward releasing the retainer clips securing the compartment to the instrument panel assembly.
Disconnect the electrical connections, if applicable.
