Preliminary Procedure Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool and release the retainer clips securing the front forward edge of the left front floor console extension enough to access the instrument panel lower trim panel fastener. Do NOT remove the complete front floor console extension panel, only release the retainer clips securing the forward edge.
1	Front Floor Console Cover Trim Plate Fasteners (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
2	Front Floor Console Cover Trim Plate Assembly Procedure Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the retainer clips securing the front half of the front floor console cover trim plate to the instrument panel assembly.
