Valve Lifter Replacement - Right Side

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the applicable camshafts. Refer to Camshaft Replacement - Right Side (LLT) (Camshaft Replacement - Right Side).
2. Remove the rocker arms. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm Replacement - Right Side (Valve Rocker Arm Replacement - Right Side).
3. Remove the lifters. Refer to Valve Lifter Replacement - Right Side .
4. Clean and inspect the camshafts, rocker arms and lifters. Repair or replace as necessary. Refer to Camshaft Cleaning and Inspection (64. Camshaft Cleaning and Inspection) , Valve Rocker Arm Cleaning and Inspection (66. Valve Rocker Arm Cleaning and Inspection) and Valve Lifter Cleaning and Inspection (65. Valve Lifters and Guides Cleaning and Inspection).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the lifters. Refer to Valve Lifter Replacement - Right Side .
2. Install the rocker arms. Refer to Valve Rocker Arm Replacement - Right Side (Valve Rocker Arm Replacement - Right Side).
3. Install the applicable camshafts. Refer to Camshaft Replacement - Right Side (LLT) (Camshaft Replacement - Right Side).
