Installation Procedure

  1. Press the hood assist rod (4) onto the upper hood assist rod ball stud (1).
  2. Press the hood assist rod (4) onto the lower hood assist rod ball stud (3).
  3. Ensure that both clips are fully seated on the hood assist rod (4).
  4. Close the hood.
