35. Fuel Pump Removal

Fuel Pump Removal (LLT)




1. Remove the fuel rail noise shield (1).




2. Remove the fuel rail wiring connectors from the fuel feed pipe bracket.
3. Remove the fuel feed pipe bolts (1).
4. Remove and discard the fuel feed pipe (2).




5. Remove and discard the LH to RH fuel rail crossover pipe.




6. Remove and discard high pressure fuel line.




7. Remove and discard high pressure fuel pump bolts (1).
8. Remove the high pressure fuel pump (2).
9. Remove the valve lifter follower (3).
10. Remove and discard the high pressure fuel pump gasket (4).
11. Remove and discard the high pressure fuel pump O-ring (5).
