Oil Filter Adapter Assemble (Without Oil Cooler)

  1. If removed, install the oil filter bypass valve (4).
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the oil filter fitting (3) and tighten to 29 N.m (21 lb ft).
  3. Install the bypass hole plug (5) and tighten to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
  4. Install a NEW O-ring (6) on the oil pressure switch (7).
  5. Install the oil pressure switch (7) and tighten to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).
  6. Install the heat shield (8).
  7. Install the heat shield bolts (9) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  8. Install the NEW oil filter adapter gasket (1).
