Oil Filter Adapter Assemble (With Oil Cooler)

  1. If removed, install the oil filter bypass valve (6).
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the oil filter fitting (5) and tighten to 29 N.m (21 lb ft).
  3. Install the oil cooler bypass valve (3).
  4. Install the oil cooler bypass valve hole plug (2) and tighten to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
  5. Install a NEW O-ring (7) on the oil pressure switch (8).
  6. Install the oil pressure switch (8) and tighten to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).
  7. Install the heat shield (9).
  8. Install the heat shield bolts (10) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  9. Install the NEW oil filter adapter gasket (1).
