Preliminary Procedure: Remove the center front compartment sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement .
1	Hood Latch Bolt (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tip: Use a grease pencil to mark the latch position before removing the bolts. Tighten: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	Hood Latch Tip: Disconnect the electrical connector. Disconnect the hood latch release cable.
