Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the door control module. Refer to Door Lock Control Module Replacement .
  3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  4. Remove the door wire harness connector from the pillar by inserting a small flat bladed tool between the connector and the pillar and depress the retaining tabs on the connector.
  5. Disconnect the door wire harness from the body wire harness.
  6. Disconnect the door latch electrical connector.
  7. Disconnect the power window motor electrical connector.
  8. Disconnect the wiring harness rosebud retainers (1) from the inner front door panel.
  9. Push the wiring harness rubber grommet (2) into the door.
  10. Remove the grommet (3) from the door inner panel.
  11. Remove the wiring harness from the door.
