Drive Belt Tensioner Shield Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement).
2. Remove the water pump drive belt tensioner shield bolt/nuts.
3. Remove the water pump drive belt tensioner shield.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the water pump drive belt tensioner shield onto the studs.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the water pump drive belt tensioner shield bolt/nuts.

Tighten the bolt/nuts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

3. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement).
