Evaporative Emission Hoses/Pipes Replacement - Engine/Chassis

Removal Procedure
Warning: Refer to Fuel and EVAP Pipe Warning.





1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Disconnect the quick-connect fittings at the intake manifold and the EVAP canister purge valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service (Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service).
3. Remove the EVAP pipe.
4. Cap the intake manifold pipe and the EVAP canister purge valve in order to prevent possible contamination.

Installation Procedure

1. Remove the caps from the intake manifold pipe and the EVAP canister purge valve.
2. Install the EVAP pipe to the intake manifold and the EVAP canister purge valve.




3. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (Service and Repair).
