Mode Valve Actuator Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) carrier. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement (Service and Repair).




2. Disconnect the mode actuator electrical connector.




3. Remove the mode actuator screws (3).




4. Remove the mode actuator.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the mode actuator.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the mode actuator screws (2) and tighten to 1 Nm (9 lb in ).




3. Connect the electrical connector to the actuator.
4. Install the I/P carrier. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement (Service and Repair).
