Exhaust Manifold Installation - Left Side




1. Install the left engine flywheel housing cover.




2. Install the left engine mount bracket.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Install the left engine mount bracket bolts and tighten to 60 Nm (44 lb ft).




4. Install the left engine mount.
5. Install the left engine mount upper nut and tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb ft).




6. Install the left exhaust manifold studs to the left cylinder head and tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb in).




7. Install the NEW left exhaust manifold gasket.




8. Install the left exhaust manifold.
9. Loosely install the left exhaust manifold bolts to the left cylinder head.

Left:

10. Tighten the exhaust manifold bolts and nuts in the sequence shown to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).




11. Install the left exhaust manifold heat shield.
12. Install the left exhaust manifold heat shield bolts and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
