Diagnostic Aids

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2009 GMC Yukon, 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2009 Chevrolet Suburban, and 2009 Chevrolet Avalanche. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

An open, high resistance, or short to voltage on the incremental sensor direction signal circuit will cause this DTC to set. If the sensor is determined to be bad the entire transfer case actuator will have to be replaced as the incremental sensor is part of the actuator and can not be replaced independently.
