Low Oil Level

The instrument panel cluster (IPC) displays the LOW OIL LEVEL message in the driver information center (DIC) when the engine control module (ECM) detects a low engine oil level condition, and the engine oil level switch/sensor signal circuit is high. The IPC receives a serial data message from the ECM requesting the display of the LOW OIL LEVEL message.
