Removal Procedure

  1. Using the J 44827  , disconnect the front transmission oil cooler (TOC) line from the rear TOC line.
  2. Remove the left hand (LH) front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the LH front splash shield retainers.
  4. Remove the LH front splash shield.
  5. Using the J 44827  , disconnect the rear transmission oil cooler TOC lines from the radiator.

  6. Remove the rear TOC line to transmission retainer bolt.
  7. Disconnect the rear TOC lines from the transmission.
  8. Remove and discard the O-rings.
  9. Remove the TOC retainer bracket bolt.
  10. Remove the TOC lines.
