Circuit/System Verification
- Ignition ON, engine running, observe the scan tool Engine Oil Pressure Sensor parameter. The reading should be between 0.2-4.8 volts.
- If not within the specified range, refer to Circuit/System Testing .
- Observe the Engine Oil Pressure Sensor parameter while running at various engine RPM's. The reading should vary by at least 5 psi.
- If the specified value does not vary, refer to:
- Engine Oil Pressure Sensor and/or Switch Replacement for 3.6L engine
- Engine Oil Pressure Sensor and/or Switch Replacement for 4.2L engine
- Engine Oil Pressure Sensor and/or Switch Replacement for 4.4L engine
