Mode Actuator Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) carrier. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement (Service and Repair) .




2. Disconnect the mode actuator electrical connector.




3. Remove the mode actuator screws (3).




4. Remove the mode actuator.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the mode actuator.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice .

2. Install the mode actuator screws (2).

Tighten the screws to 1 N.m (9 lb in).





3. Connect the electrical connector to the actuator.
4. Install the I/P carrier. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement (Service and Repair) .
