Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement - Left Side (LY7 - Gas, 6 CYL, 3.6L, SFI, V6, Alum)

Removal Procedure
Caution: Refer to Exhaust Service Caution (Service Precautions) .
Caution: Refer to Protective Goggles and Glove Caution (Protective Goggles and Glove Warning) .





1. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts.
2. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts.

Tighten the exhaust manifold heat shield bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
