Preliminary Procedure Remove the rear seat. Refer to Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade) or Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement (Suburban/Yukon XL) . Remove the rear seat cushion finish covers. Refer to Rear Seat Number 2 Cushion Panel Replacement (AS3) or Rear Seat Number 2 Cushion Panel Replacement (AW2) .
1	Rear Seat No. 2 Cushion Cover Tip: Disconnect the j-channel from the seat cushion frame and remove the cushion cover and pad as an assembly.
2	Rear Seat No. 2 Cushion Pad Tip: Pull the seat cushion cover off the pad to disengage the retainers.

Tip: Pull the seat cushion cover off the pad to disengage the retainers.
