Endgate Replacement (Avalanche/Escalade EXT)

Preliminary Procedure:  Remove the endgate torque rod. Refer to Endgate Torque Rod Replacement .
1	Electrical Connector Tip:  If equipped with a rear camera, disconnect the electrical connector located under the vehicle.
2	Endgate Support Cable Tip:  Disconnect the endgate support cables.
3	Endgate Tip:  With the aid of an assistant, remove the endgate.
