DOOR AJAR (Driver/Passenger)

The driver information center (DIC), illuminates the LEFT DOOR AJAR or RIGHT DOOR AJAR indicator when the body control module (BCM) detects that one of the doors is open. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the BCM indicating the door ajar status. If this message is displayed and the vehicle speed is greater than 4.8 km/h (3 mph), a chime will sound.
