Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front grill assembly. Refer to Radiator Grille Replacement (Chevrolet) or Radiator Grille Replacement (GMC) .

  3. Remove the transmission fluid cooler hose from the Auxiliary oil cooler. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  4. Remove the transmission fluid cooler hose from the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  5. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

  7. Remove the transmission cooling line bracket retaining bolt (2).
  8. Remove the cooling lines from the transmission.
  9. Remove the oil cooling lines from the vehicle.
