Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct/Hose: Service and Repair



Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose from the air cleaner duct resonator.
3. Loosen the air cleaner duct clamps.
4. Remove the air cleaner duct.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the air cleaner intake duct.
2. Install the PCV hose to the intake duct resonator.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

3. Tighten the air cleaner duct clamps.

* Tighten the air cleaner duct clamp at the mass air flow (MAF) sensor to 4 N.m (35 lb in).
* Tighten the air cleaner duct clamp at the throttle body to 7 N.m (35 lb in).
