Preliminary Procedures
- Remove the shift control knob. Refer to Transmission Control Lever Knob Replacement .
- Remove the center console assembly. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement

Shift Control Indicator Lamp
Tip:
- Remove the shift indicator lamp sockets from the shift indicator by rotating the lamp sockets one quarter turn counterclockwise.
- Install the shift indicator lamp sockets to the shift indicator. Rotate each lamp socket one quarter turn clockwise to lock in place.
