Installation Procedure

  1. Install the hinge to the vehicle.
    2. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .

  2. Install the bolts (1) in order to secure the hinge to the motor compartment.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the hood using the marks scribed during removal. Refer to Hood Replacement .
  4. Install the fender. Refer to Fender Replacement - Front .
  5. Close the hood and inspect for fit.
  6. Adjust the hood as necessary. Refer to Hood Adjustment .
  7. Remove the tape from the panels.
