Removal Procedure

Open the door on the instrument panel (I/P) passenger compartment.
Disconnect the door dampener.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the I/P compartment lamp switch.
With the compartment open, depress both rear corners of the compartment and swing the compartment down towards the floor.
Starting at the outboard side, release the compartment hinge from the pin at the bottom of the door.
Slowly pull the I/P compartment far enough to disconnect the wiring harness connector from the inflatable restraint module switch.
Remove the I/P compartment.
